Anna hazare the war veteran, saviour of ralegaon siddhi, ok wat else? Anymore inputs?UPA-2 has had a tough time since it came to power- 2g scam, seperate state demands, antrix scam, CWG scam, adarsh housing society scam,whoa i didnt know they were so many till i just counted them. Anyway the real pain in the neck now for UPA is the peaceful stubborn gandhian anna hazare. Now he wants a lokpal to be instituted with all the powers both at the centre and state to curb corruption. UPA doesn't want to include the PM to maintain the sanctity or dignity or whatever of the office( whatever dude! The PM hardly opens his mouth now a days). Now here is where the real problem starts. Anna is right about ending corruption but at what cost? He wants to substitute the people elected representative with the lokpal at the helm of affairs of the country. This proposed watchdog, if it comes into existence........will it not become a parallel power. Forget abt jayamma's stance that the PM will have to become defensive if accused by the lokpal and will not be able to function effectively. Anna wants to make the highest elected office in the country accountable to a non elected body. Now that is going to make the lokpal a force to reckon with if we agree to anna's terms. Now lets talk of UPA( man! U guys have lost it, it seems u have no clue of wat u wanna do). I had immense respect for the congress. After UPA-2's stance in the midst of all these scams and scandals i've lost my faith in them. Now you guys brought it onto yourself. What were you guys thinking? Not a single solution to any scam, u guys are just appointing committees to procastinate any problems. I am from hyderabad, for example lets take the telangana problem. I am from the andhra region. I was in hyderabad when the agitation started. What did the UPA-2 do? Mr. Chidambaram stated that we'll bifurcate the state. What the heck? Is that how u wud react to a recurring problem of telanagana. Wat the UPA shud have done was scan the problem, u will find that it is all for water. Telangana has the 2 major rivers godavari and krishna passing through it to andhra region, yet it doesnt have enough irrigation facilities due to lack of water.(lack of water! What the heck? Its got 2 rivers) but it hasnt got any major projects to tap this potential. Wat the UPA should have done was that as soon as the telangana agitation started they should have immediately started works on some major projects that have been stalled in telangana. Atleast this wud have shown some progress. The ppl in telangana suffer as they have land but no water to cultivate it, so they fall into poverty, which leads them to illiteracy, which leads to backwardness, which in turn leads them to blame me(the andhraiites). Well it hurts me to be blamed for ur mistakes. Anyway i'll not get personal. Now back to the point. I just wanted to say that they haven't been able to handle anything propahly! Now they have anna standing there like a nemesis. I dont know wat they are gonna do. Anna has managed to get the support of the public who have got vexed up with UPA-2's irresponsible corrupt term. He wants to mix direct and indirect democracy. I dunno if it will work but UPA-2 do something about it. Show some dignity. And Singh saheb u should start TALKING.
